I am writing this note from Paris, where the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has announced today that they will host the first international conference on Labour and the Environment, WILL2006 in january 2006 in Nairobi.
The Sustainlabour Foundation and the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU) will develop a set of Worker's Initiatives for a Lasting Legacy in the run-up to the Nairobi conference, and endorse them in Nairobi.
