The Independent on Sunday tells us today that we should watch out and listen to what the Pope has to say about climate change and environmental protection, next week at the United Nations General Assembly.
I'll be watching. Religiously.
I remember that at the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) in 2002, the main concern of the delegation of the Holy See was to avoid any reference to Women's Reproductive Rights in the final declaration. So, I sincerely welcome the shift of the Vatican's new leadership.
