Shaking things up

I'm going home tomorrow, after two weeks in Tokyo where we've been shaking things up, to say the least. In a positive sense.

The Pew Tokyo Whale Symposium we've put together was called A Change in Climate for Whales. We did change the political climate for two days, no doubt [ask any of the 100 participants, and I'm sure they'll agree; or check the Earth Negotations Bulletin].

Good. But I don't want to sound too optimistic.

There is still a long way to go, of course.

I'll let the dust settle a little bit [and my brain rest for the week-end while I'm flying home]. And then I'll come back to this matter here, Chez Rémi.
