It's been a long day. We've finalized and posted the Chair's Summary of last week's Lisbon Pew Whale conference.
With Peter Bridgewater who chaired the Pew Whales Commission meeting we organized, we produced the first draft a week ago, and gave a few days to all participants and observers to comment on it. Then it is always a bit tedious to reconcile many different comments and suggestions, some of which are contradicting each others.
I think we've done an honest and balanced job.
The document will be presented at the intersessional meeting of the International Whaling Commmission (IWC) at FAO Headquarters in Rome in little more than two weeks.
