On the eve of the start of the UN General Assembly debate about Ocean issues, the BBC website has got a good curtain raising piece this evening: a thorough piece on the on-going controversy about the need for the UN to declare a moratorium on high seas bottom trawling.
It makes good reading, and includes a great diaporama with footage showing the deep sea before and after it has been trawled.
