Week-end readings

1. Google.cn "boomerang effect"?

Not sure who's getting hit by a boomerang. This whole story reminds me of the work of the artist Christo, the wrapper who covers up monuments to draw attention on them.

2. Bill Clinton's climate change priority:

Bill's getting it right: climate change has become his # 1 priority.

3. Kofi Annan's legacy:

Also in Davos, Kofi Annan's address makes an interesting read, too.

4. Sounding the alarm for shrinking deepsea biodiversity:

Good piece in Le Monde on calls to protect high seas biodiversity, at last week's Third Global Conference on Oceans, Coasts and Islands in Paris.
