Imminent cold rush

I just read on BBC online that the cold rush is about to begin on the Alaska shore.

Many years ago, there was a common belief among environmentalists that the higher the price of oil, the better for the environment.Ordinary house wives and husbands may try to restrict their own oil consumption when prices are high. But when a barrel is worth 100 Dollars the market's attraction to expand operations in the most remote and prestine areas of the globe is irresisitible.
