Red Alert

Climate change threatens French wine traditions and gastronomy.

Greenpeace-France is partnering with oenologists, wine growers, wine waiters and chefs to warn about the threats Champagne, Pinot, Bordeaux, Bourgogne and other French alcoholic delicacies are facing with climate change.

Meanwhile, the Tcktcktck campaign I'm working with this summer in the run up to the December Copenhagen Climate Negotiations has just reached its first million signatures. One million people demanding a fair, ambitious and binding climate agreement. I'll pour myself a glass of threatened French wine and drink to that.
