This year's Olympics inevitably made many of us think that today's athletes, however good they are at their job, are a bit tasteless compared to some of their predecessors from exactly 40 years ago at the Mexico Olympics.
But with the Democratic Convention opening today in the US, we see that if everything changes it's maybe not all for the worst.
