In search of the beaked whale

Looks like Richard Black of the BBC is having fun looking for the beaked whale in the Canary Islands.

I was also very impressed by the local whale scientists when I witnessed their work almost a year ago.

There are not many animals nowadays that have remained as truly mysterious as the beaked whales.

I envy Richard having a good time this week, because next week we will both be at the World Conservation Congress in Barcelona. And I can already envisage that it won't be as much fun.
